Referring to the Harbhajan-Symonds incident, why is calling someone a monkey, racism? Every intelligent person on this planet knows that we evolved from them. So, why is it racial when you call a black man a monkey? If Symonds would have called Harbhajan a monkey, would that be racism as well? Will ICC ban Symonds for three tests, then? What has the colour of the skin to do with all this?

If ICC believes that all players are equal irrespective of skin colour, then it has to think twice before continuing the ban on Bhajji. If it did, then that means “monkey” should not be used on the cricket field ever again. Considering the fact that much worse things have been said on the cricket field (the Mcgrath – Sarwan incident for example), this cannot be an option.
